Legal Status in the Netherlands

Mondo Grow Kits is a legally registered Dutch company (based in Purmerend, Netherlands) and operates in full compliance with Dutch legislation. The legal framework regarding magic mushrooms and mushroom grow kits in the Netherlands is well-established:

  • Fresh or dried cultivated magic mushrooms are prohibited under the Dutch Opium Act (Opiumwet) since 1 December 2008 (Stb. 2008, 391).
  • Mushroom grow kits, spores, and mycelium are not classified as controlled substances and are therefore legal to sell and possess under current Dutch law – provided they do not contain psilocybin at the time of sale.

Mondo Grow Kits exclusively offers products that comply with these legal boundaries. Our grow kits contain sterile substrates with mycelial growth but no harvested mushrooms or extracted substances.

Jurisdiction and Sale Location

All purchases through www.mondogrowkits.com are legally processed within the Netherlands. This means that:

  • The sale is deemed to occur in the Netherlands, regardless of the buyer’s location.
  • Our business is VAT-registered, operates under a valid Dutch Chamber of Commerce number, and maintains transparent invoicing practices.
  • Products sold on our platform are 100% legal to sell and distribute within the Netherlands.

Responsibility of International Customers

While our products are legal in the Netherlands, legislation varies by country and may differ significantly in regard to:

  • Possession or importation of grow kits, spores, or mycelium.
  • Customs clearance and border controls.
  • Definitions of psilocybin-containing organisms or precursors.

By placing an order, you acknowledge and accept the following:
