A magic mushroom grow kit is a tub you soak once, available in 750, 1200 and 2100 cc. A Ready-to-Grow Bag XL holds about 2.1 kg and needs no soaking at all. The Mondotub grow box keeps a grow kit in steady humidity during fruiting.

How do you choose?

First time and want a clear routine? Take a grow kit in an easy strain such as Golden Teacher or B+.
Want to touch the substrate as little as possible? Take a Ready-to-Grow Bag. It stays closed until pins appear.
Dry air at home, or planning several flushes? Add the Mondotub, or take a bundle that already includes a 1200 cc kit.

Questions about choosing a format

Is a grow kit or a grow bag better for beginners?

Both work well. The grow kit has a fixed routine with a soak; the bag needs no soaking but asks you to manage air exchange through the corner. Pick the one whose steps you find clearer.

Do grow kits and grow bags use the same strains?

Largely. Golden Teacher, B+, Mazatapec, McKennaii, Penis Envy, Yeti, Jack Frost and Jedi Mind Fuck come in both. Some strains are only available in one format.

Do I need a grow box?

No. A kit or bag works on its own. A grow box helps when the air in your home is dry or the temperature swings, and it keeps conditions steadier for later flushes.
