Product: Heat Mat & Heat Guard
Description: A heat mat designed to maintain temperatures consistently above 23°C to support mycelium growth, combined with a heat guard to prevent the grow kit from overheating.
Instructions
Follow these instructions after completing the activation step of the grow kit and just before starting the fruiting process:
- Turn on the heat mat.
- For smaller kits: set the heat between one-quarter and halfway.
- For larger kits: set the heat between halfway and maximum.
- Place the heat guard on top of the heat mat to prevent direct contact between the heat mat and the grow kit.
- Place the grow kit on top of the heat guard.
- Turn off the heat mat 1–2 days before harvest to prevent mushrooms from releasing spores too quickly.
Cautions
- Direct contact between the grow kit and the heat mat can cause temperatures above 30°C, which may damage or kill the mycelium. Using a heat guard is strongly recommended to prevent direct contact.
- Leaving the heat mat on in warm environments may cause overheating and inhibit growth. Always monitor ambient room temperature.
