This spore syringe contains a sterile spore solution of the Mazatapec Psilocybe cubensis line, which is a traditional Psilocybe cubensis strain traced to the Mazatec region of Oaxaca, Mexico, part of the lineage documented following R. Gordon Wasson’s 1957 expedition into the region’s indigenous mycological traditions. Each syringe is filled and sealed under sterile lab conditions and tested for viability before shipping.

Mazatapec genetics

Mazatapec colonises more slowly than faster strains such as B+, but delivers consistent fruiting quality, a trait noted since its earliest documentation, offering a reliable reference point for hybrid comparison and spore morphology studies.
